Joseph Catanzano

Dr. Catanzano is from Sete in the south of France and has over 25 years work experience. He has held senior posts in both IFREMER and IRD (formerly ORSTOM), as Director of Fisheries Economics Research. He has extensive international work experience with both international development organizations and national governments, mainly in Africa, with a special focus on fisheries policy and management.

Stephen Cunningham

Dr. Cunningham is from the UK and has widespread international work experience. He was a senior adviser to the Minister of Fisheries in Morocco for a number of years as part of an FAO programme. He has also held the post of Director of CEMARE at the University of Portsmouth, and has published extensively on fisheries economics. He has been involved in a long-term mentoring programme on fisheries management in NW Africa (Mauritania) for the past five years.

Arthur E. Neiland

Dr. Neiland has a family background in the herring industry and fish trade in both the UK and Ireland. He has over 20 years work experience of both fisheries and aquaculture in Europe, Africa and Asia, and is a former Director of CEMARE at the University of Portsmouth. He has recently led a number of international teams working on fisheries policy and planning initiatives in Sierra Leone, India and the Maldives for international donors.
